This met and exceeded my expectations.
As a matter of fact, in the back of my mind, I really thought it was gonna be a piece of crap as I buy things that seem too good to be true. This manual meat slicer is incredibly versatile and delivers excellent results. It cuts through a variety of meats with ease allowing for precise consistent slices every time. It also has a very strong suction function that sticks to any flat surface. While it does a great job and is built to last cleaning it can be a bit challenging due to it’s intricate parts and little crevices. That said the performance it offers far outweighs the extra effort needed to clean it. If you’re looking for a reliable and affordable slicer that can handle all your cutting needs, this one is definitely up to the task!
I used this recently to close up for Tri Tip for Tacos and it worked pretty well. Reasonably easy to use as you just place a chunk of meat in the center gently slide the blade. The base locked onto the counter well with the suction. I have to take off a star because of the amount of meat it can accommodate as I wish it were somehow larger, I'm not sure if it saved me much time vs slicing it by hand though the consistency was nice.
It's easy to clean, I just popped it on the top rack of the dishwasher and the plastic held up fine through the Heavy Cycle. Overall it works and can add consistency to whatever you're slicing and may save a bit of time in the kitchen if you're not quick with a regular blade.
